There are two modal verbs that
are often used with the instruct-
ions on how to view the full 
College Calendar. Can turning 
it to my advantage be possible? 
Could learning from it be bene-
ficial? Yet neither is spelt out or
even discussed. That's why few
people bother to read past the 
introductory pages Such a pity.
If they had gone on, they might
have discovered the notebooks
of Frank O'Hara or Ezra Pound's
best drawings hidden there. Even
a discourse on why pigeons are
drawn to walk on the grass by 
Gertrude Stein, or The Holy Bop
Empire, reflections on the beasts
of Bedlam by Allen Ginsberg.
Such a pity none of that is true.
Turns out that the only truth is 
that some of the time the College 
Calendar is misleading, but most 
of the time it's as boring as batshit.
