The gargoyles squabble with both
the birds & the bards, neither of
whom want some primitive form
of artificial intelligence to join them
in a singalong on the castle roof. It's
only when the rains come, & both
bards & birds retreat to some drier
setting, that the gargoyles can de-
monstrate their exemplary pur-
pose. Unfortunately for them, no
one is left on the roof to observe it.
The castle grounds are also empty.
