Tuatara sidewalks

The first popularized dune buggy
sizzles sausages & sings on the
sidewalk. It is the sole survivor

frame fused with the chassis, a 
kind of electric utility terrain 
vehicle that is much like those 
originally used to pump water 
from the aquifers beneath the 
Great Plains. When aroused, be
it by fighting or the prospect of
sex, the soft spines that can be 
found along its back stiffen & 
raise up, proclaiming both its
masculinity & the fact that it's
a descendant of Punga, the ances-
tor of all deformed ugly things.
